ABOUT COLE J. RETCHLESS
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Cole was born and raised in Nebraska and is an associate attorney at Robert Pahlke Law Group. For the Pahlke Law Group, Cole’s primary areas of practice are negligence, personal injury and wrongful death cases. Cole has worked on a wide range of cases involving fire and explosion, negligent wildfire, farm accident, and oilfield injury. Cole is admitted to practice before all of Nebraska’s state courts and
the Federal District Courts of Nebraska.
A Nebraska native, Cole was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and proudly calls the Panhandle his home and cherishes the values of hard work and dedication that this area instills in its residents. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Studies from Chadron State College and was awarded the distinction of graduating Cum Laude. During his time at Chadron State, Cole was an active member of the Rural Law Opportunities Program and the CSC Eagles Rodeo team, competing in both Steer Wrestling and Team Roping.
After graduating Chadron State, Cole pursued his legal education at the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Law, graduating in 2023 with his Juris Doctorate. Cole interned for the Morrill County Attorney’s office from 2017 to 2021. Cole later clerked for the Honorable Travis O’Gorman of the Nebraska State District Court for the Twelfth Judicial District, during his second year of law school. During Cole’s last year of law school, he interned with the Robert Pahlke Law Group and officially became part of the team in 2023.
